The Boxing / SPAR Instructor Role

The Boxing / SPAR Instructor brings the heat, intensity, and power to our striking studio! Fusing authentic boxing technique, martial arts conditioning, and heavy-bag or mitt drills with high-energy music and Crunch’s signature culture, you will lead dynamic classes designed to build cardiovascular endurance, total-body strength, and athletic power. Responsible for creating a safe, electric, and empowering environment, you will coach fighters of all experience levels under our "No Judgments" philosophy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading Boxing/SPAR Classes: Instruct high-energy, technique-driven boxing, martial arts, and striking classes focused on heavy bag work, mitt drills, combination building, and bodyweight conditioning.
• Cultivating an Unbeatable Studio Vibe: Command the room with heart-pumping music, clear verbal cueing, precision timing, and relentless motivation that turns every round into an unforgettable experience.
• Technique Coaching & Safety: Teach proper stance, footwork, striking mechanics, defense, and wrapping technique to prevent injury and maximize power output for participants of all skill levels.
• Studio & Gear Management: Prepare the studio prior to class, ensure heavy bags and striking gear are properly secured, assist members with glove and wrap setup, and reset the studio post-class.

• Boxing/SPAR: Offers boxing, martial-arts, and striking drills focused on building strength, cardiovascular endurance, and athletic agility in a high-energy group environment.
• Complementary Signature Offerings: Crunch also features high-intensity turf functional training in The HIITZone, infrared heated classes in Hot Stuff Studio, Group Strength & Sculpt, and high-calorie-burn Cardio & Dance classes!

The Ideal Boxing / SPAR Instructor

We are looking for a charismatic, high-energy coach and striking enthusiast who knows how to command a room, refine members' technique, and deliver an intense, empowering workout.

You’re the perfect fit if:

• You’re an Energy & Rhythm Master: You know how to command the floor, keep the pace fast and rhythmic, and motivate members through every round.
• You’re a Technique & Striking Specialist: You possess a solid background in boxing, kickboxing, MMA, or martial arts, with a deep understanding of proper form, combinations, and striking safety.
• You’re a Vibe Curator: You know how to pair killer playlists with aggressive, motivating coaching to keep the crowd locked in from warm-up to final bell.
• You’re a Culture Champion: You thrive in the loud, energetic, and inclusive vibe of Crunch and proudly champion our "No Judgments" philosophy.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Pro: Current Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM) or specialized Boxing/Kickboxing/Martial Arts Coaching Certification required. CPR/AED certification required.
• Striking Background: Proven experience in boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, or MMA instruction.
• Skills: Strong vocal cueing, rhythm, timing, and heavy bag/mitt drill management skills.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends to teach scheduled classes and sub as needed.
