Duties

• Create a variety of braiding styles, including box braids, cornrows, twists, and more, tailored to each client’s preferences
• Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering style recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized and ready for use
• Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or hair treatments to enhance client satisfaction
• Educate clients on hair care routines and product recommendations to promote healthy hair growth
• Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
• Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing techniques and best practices to foster team growth

Experience

• Proven experience in professional braiding techniques with a strong portfolio of completed styles
• Knowledge of store management principles to help maintain an efficient salon environment
• Background in barbering or related hair styling services is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients and team members
• Prior experience in customer service roles within beauty salons or similar settings
• Ability to perform eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to upsell services confidently while ensuring client satisfaction
