Brain Injury Support Worker

Job Summary

Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible, energetic, and proactive Brain injury rehabilitation support worker (part-time role). Our client is a male who is in his early 30’s and leaves independently in Clacton on Sea. This is a 1:1 role focusing on providing personalised, person-centred support to enhance his independence and overall well-being.

The role involves supporting rehabilitation therapies, helping to maintain daily structure, and encouraging community engagement and participation in activities.

The successful candidate must have their own car and hold a full, valid UK driving licence with appropriate business car insurance in place, as they will be required to transport the client to appointments and leisure activities.

Hours:

Weekdays: Mondays to Friday 12:00-16:00.

Pay:

£17.00 per hr

Responsibilities:

• Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
• Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
• Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
• Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
• Assist with appointments.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
• Support with physiotherapy and other therapeutic exercises (experience in this area is highly desirable).
• Drive the client to appointments, and community outings,
• Help with admin tasks,
• Help in meal preparation.

Essential Requirements:

• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• Access to your own reliable vehicle.
• Appropriate business car insurance covering the transportation of the client for appointments and community activities.
• A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to providing support.
• Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
• A commitment to promoting the client’s independence, dignity, choice, and overall well-being.
• We are looking for supportive, patient, energetic, proactive and committed team members to provide the care throughout the day. The ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients , active, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.

Pay: £17.00 per hour
