Brake Press Operator

Operates Brake Press Machine. Performs machine set-up and programming for daily production.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Works under the direction of the Shop Team Lead
• Fabricates product using drawings, work packages, and verbal instructions
• Programs new Jobs to meet engineering requirements
• Responsible to perform first off inspections and overall quality
• Meets all set deadlines and production expectations
• Work well as a team member
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
• One (1) or more years directly related experience
• Ability to interpret and understand Engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Mechanically inclined

Working Conditions:

• 40 hour work week (Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day)
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Physically demanding
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and stretching
• Lifting of light and heavy materials

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 04:00PM
