Brake Press Operator

The Compensation Picture:

• Pay negotiable, based on experience
• $2.00/hr second shift premium
• Weekly pay
• 401(k) with company match

Your Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm; Friday overtime (5 - 8 hours) as needed
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am; Friday overtime (5-8 hours) as needed

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate a press brake to bend, shape, and form sheet metal components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints; verify incoming material against specifications
• Select and store tooling appropriately; adjust programs as needed per job specs
• Measure and inspect finished pieces using calipers, tape measures, and related precision tools
• Operate overhead cranes and basic hand and air tools
• Communicate machine or quality issues to supervision promptly
• Follow all safety standards

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of press brake operating and/or setup experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience forming Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Galvanized, and Aluminum
• Comfortable with precision measuring tools and basic math
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• CNC programming knowledge a plus
