About the role

We are seeking a part-time Branch Assistant / Driver to join our Bunbury WA team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic warehouse and distribution operation based in Bunbury. In this role, you will combine warehouse duties with driving responsibilities, supporting the smooth operation of our branch and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. This part-time position offers flexibility whilst contributing to the efficient running of our branch operations.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, checking and processing incoming product deliveries to maintain accurate stock levels
• Picking and packing customer orders efficiently and accurately to meet delivery schedules
• Organising and maintaining warehouse stock in an orderly and safe manner, ensuring optimal use of storage space
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Loading vehicles with products for local deliveries in a secure and efficient manner
• Undertaking driving duties to deliver products to customers within the Southwest
• Assisting customers at the branch with product enquiries and general support
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse and branch facilities
• Supporting the branch team with various administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record and experience in vehicle operation and safety
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar fast-paced logistics environment
• Proficiency in Forklift operations and warehouse equipment such as pallet jackets and trolleys
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a warehouse environment involving lifting and manual handling
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders
• Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful approach to customer interactions
• A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
• Flexibility to work the scheduled part-time hours required for the role
