West Coast Conveyor Services (WCCS) is part of the Reliable Conveyor Group. We're looking for a Perth-based Branch Coordinator to support our Pilbara sites, coordinating workshop and field crews, leading our Splice QA team and coaching your people to deliver safe, quality work for Tier 1 mining clients.

What You'll Get

  • Full-time, permanent role with a business backed by over 50 years of industry success
  • A hands-on leadership role with a clear pathway into branch management
  • Mobile phone and hi-vis workwear provided
  • Ongoing training and development, including support toward leadership and statutory qualifications
  • Wellbeing perks through our Bravo rewards program, including gym membership reimbursement and discounts at over 400 retailers

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate workshop and field activities, making sure every job has the right people, tools and supervision
  • Complete Splice QA activities and coordinate the Splice QA team to meet WCCS and client standards
  • Scope, plan and resource jobs and shutdowns, including labour and equipment requests and Gantt charts for major tasks

  • Prepare JHAs, SOPs, risk assessments and draft quotes to WCCS and client standards
  • Deliver weekly reports to clients and the Branch Manager on work commitments, improvements and shutdown status
  • Lead, coach and mentor supervisors, belt splicers and tradespeople, and sort out issues before they escalate
  • Keep plant, equipment and site vehicles maintained, tagged and fit for purpose

What We're Looking For

  • Belt replacement and splicing experience is essential. You'll need a solid hands-on background in both
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Polymer Processes
  • Conveyor experience, ideally in mining or heavy industry
  • Supervision experience leading field-based crews across concurrent jobs
  • Strong communication skills, from the crew on the ground to client managers
  • Good planning and organisation, with the ability to spot problems early and juggle competing deadlines
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
  • Current driver's licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and functional assessment

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management or similar leadership qualification
  • Statutory Supervisor ticket
  • Experience in splice QA or quality assurance on mine sites
  • Experience working on Rio Tinto or other Tier 1 mine sites
