A little bit about the role:

As a small team we all work together and wear lots of hats. This role is no exception but we all pitch in and help. The main functions are actively managing our service planner - this includes picking up the phone and making calls, processing invoices / banking and working on our social media / marketing, including doing car photos.

In this role you would:

● Ensure the Honda workshop planner is fully booked in advance of any given day and the resources are available to complete the work in a timely manner.

● Perform all administration functions required at the Honda Store Dunedin.

● In conjunction with the sales staff, this role will ensure every customer experiences a professional and attentive meet-and-greet at each visit.

● Coordinate the daily smooth running of the workshop. This includes monitoring completion times for jobs to keep the customer informed on WIP at all times.

● Coordinate customer request or issues with sales staff and technicians to ensure the experience is seamless

● Escalates relevant customer concerns immediately to senior management.

● Process banking in an accurate and timely manner.

● Create accurate customer invoices and quotes in a timely manner and communicates appropriately with customer.

● Receives and records booking information. Ensures customers specific and particular needs are catered for.

● Contact customer base to ensure high customer service satisfaction, retention and increase retails profitability.

● Promote the sales of parts and accessories to contribute to the effective operations of the service department.

● Ensure the marketing (social media photos) adhere to a set standard which is within acceptable brand guidelines and reflects well on the team and company.

About you:

● Passion for excellent customer service and passion for winning

● The ability to build good relationships

● Four years of secondary education

● Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel

● Be a team player with a conscientious attitude

● Effective communication skills

● A friendly telephone manner
