Branch Development Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Motortrade Nationwide Corporation as the Branch Development Manager. In this full-time executive role, you will lead the company’s expansion strategy by identifying new business opportunities, driving network growth, and overseeing real property acquisition initiatives nationwide.

As a key member of senior leadership, you will play a critical role in strengthening the company’s market presence, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring sustainable business expansion aligned with organizational objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement business development and branch expansion strategies aligned with company growth objectives
• Identify and evaluate potential market opportunities, new branch locations, and real property acquisition prospects
• Oversee the end-to-end process of branch development, including site sourcing, acquisition, lease negotiation, and project coordination
• Establish and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances to strengthen the company’s network and market presence
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support data-driven expansion and business development initiatives
• Lead sales initiatives, monitor pipelines, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and expansion targets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Development to ensure alignment of business strategies
• Manage departmental cost efficiency while maintaining profitability and operational effectiveness
• Coordinate sublease agreements with company affiliates to maximize asset utilization
• Develop tools, processes, and best practices for site acquisition and lessor negotiations
• Analyze business intelligence and market data to identify opportunities within assigned markets
• Lead and manage special projects initiated by senior management
• Evaluate, coach, and develop department team members to ensure strong performance and engagement

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in branch operations, business development, or expansion planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and network expansion strategies
• Proven experience in site acquisition, lease negotiations, and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven business decisions
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong financial and business planning capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
