Are you a manager extraordinaire? A born leader ready to take the reins and lead the way? Then we’ve got the perfect job for you. We’re looking for a branch manager to join our team.
This is your opportunity to run the show — owning the performance of your branch end-to-end while building a strong team and even stronger customer relationships.
You’ll be the driving force behind your branch’s success — leading from the front, making smart commercial decisions, and creating a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
This is a full-time, permanent role (Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings).
Responsibilities include:
Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team, driving engagement and accountability
Manage performance, recognise success, and address challenges proactively
Own the branch’s financial performance including sales, margin, and profitability
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships and grow market share
Identify new business opportunities and partner with Sales Reps to maximise customer outcomes
Champion a strong sales and service culture across the team
Oversee stock control, stocktake, and inventory accuracy
Manage stock loss, warranty claims, and product flow
Ensure the branch is well-presented, efficient, and customer-ready
Maintain high service levels, including delivery performance and customer experience
Manage budgets, P&L, and branch targets
Oversee debtors and ensure compliance with company policies
Maintain accurate reporting and drive continuous improvement
Develop and execute a clear branch business plan aligned to company strategy
You’ll also bring:
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and develop great teams
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving sales and profitability
- Experience in customer relationships, sales, and business development
- The ability to balance people, operations, and financial performance
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with great communication skills
- Ideally, experience in automotive, truck parts, trade, or wholesale environments
Why join BNT? If you haven’t heard (word spreads fast), BNT is an awesome workplace. Apart from a great culture, you get:
- Company motor vehicle
- Your birthday off every year
- A paid volunteer day annually
- Free breakfast every morning
- Competitive salary + incentives for results
- Exceptional discounts on our products
- A flat structure where you’ll work alongside senior leaders
- Career growth opportunities with our parent company, Bapcor, which operates across NZ, Australia, and Southeast Asia
