Branch Manager

After more than 20 years with the business, their long-standing Branch Manager is moving on. He's leaving behind a great team, loyal customers and, admittedly, some pretty big boots to fill!

You'll wear plenty of hats here. Team leader, relationship builder, territory manager, coach and presenter. It's a sales-led role with plenty of time out in the market, backed by a down-to-earth leader who genuinely cares about his people and isn't afraid to roll his sleeves up alongside them.

What we are looking for:

• Strong sales and relationship management experience
• Previous experience leading and developing a team
• Comfortable managing a territory and call cycle
• Building, construction or architectural product experience
• Paint industry experience would be a big advantage
• Confident presenting, public speaking, networking and getting in front of people
• Commercially minded and comfortable driving team KPIs
• Decisive, personable and able to build rapport with just about anyone

There'll be some time on the road, generally around 4-5 nights away each month across the lower South Island. You'll control your own call cycle, giving you the freedom to manage the territory in a way that works.
