Branch Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall financial, administrative, and operational functions of the branch in accordance with bank policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. The role provides leadership to staff, ensures high-quality customer service, and drives branch performance to achieve business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the overall operations, administration, and performance of the branch
• Ensures compliance with bank policies, procedures, BSP regulations, and internal controls
• Leads, motivates, and develops branch personnel to achieve performance targets
• Develops and implements marketing and sales plans for loans, deposits, and other banking products
• Monitors branch performance and prepares regular reports on operations and results
• Conducts market research to identify opportunities and improve branch growth
• Acts as public relations officer within the branch’s local community
• Ensures effective collection of past due accounts and management of acquired assets
• Conducts regular branch meetings to discuss performance, updates, and concerns
• Evaluates staff performance and recommends promotions, training, or disciplinary actions
• Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all required reports
• Maintains proper upkeep, security, and safety of branch facilities and equipment
• Oversees compliance with audit findings and ensures corrective actions are implemented
• Handles client concerns and ensures high-quality customer service delivery
• Oversees ATM operations (if applicable)
• Ensures achievement of branch sales targets and operational goals
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, or related field
• At least 2 years managerial or supervisory experience
• Proven experience in banking, finance, credit union, or similar industries
• Ability to meet sales targets and operational goals
• Strong knowledge of banking policies and regulations
