Branch Manager

Location: Malaysia, Johor Bahru.

Scope: Malaysia & Singapore Operations

About the role

Take overall ownership of branch operational performance, including service quality, productivity, cost efficiency, profitability, and achievement of business targets. Serve as the key escalation point for critical operational, commercial, financial, and stakeholder matters, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement across the branches.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cross-border operations, ensuring strong alignment between Malaysia and Singapore to meet business and customer commitments
• Drive business growth by developing customer relationships, strengthening supplier partnerships, and expanding the branch's service capabilities
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage key contracts with customers, vendors, and service providers to optimize value and operational outcomes
• Identify and execute business development opportunities, process improvements, and cost optimization initiatives aligned with company strategy
• Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost governance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.

Experiences:

• Proven Malaysia branch or operations leadership with P&L ownership.
• Relatively a good number of years of working experience in marine industry.

Skills & Competencies:

• Commercial and business development track record.

• Multilingual (Mandarin speaker will be advantage).

• Ability in operation analysis and problem solving.

• Strong team player with a positive attitude and good communication.

• Good judgment with analytical skill.
