Branch Manager

Role & responsibilities

Branch Operations

• Manage the overall operations of the CAE training center to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business and revenue targets.
• Monitor branch performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Prepare and present branch performance reports to senior management.

Business Development & Admissions

• Drive student admissions through effective counseling and lead conversion.
• Develop and execute local marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility.
• Build relationships with engineering colleges, universities, industries, and corporate organizations.
• Identify new business opportunities for corporate training and skill development programs.
• Organize seminars, workshops, webinars, and career guidance sessions to attract prospective students.

Student Relationship Management

• Counsel students regarding CAE courses, career opportunities, and certification programs.
• Ensure a high level of student satisfaction throughout the training lifecycle.
• Address student concerns, grievances, and feedback promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with alumni to support referrals and placement initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise academic counselors, faculty, and administrative staff.
• Set individual and team performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance work environment.
• Coordinate with technical trainers to ensure quality course delivery.

Academic Coordination

• Ensure timely scheduling of classes, laboratory sessions, and assessments.
• Monitor faculty performance and student learning outcomes.
• Coordinate certification programs and placement support activities.
• Ensure training materials and software licenses are updated and available.

Financial & Administrative Management

• Manage branch budgets, expenses, and profitability.
• Monitor fee collections, invoicing, and financial records.
• Maintain accurate MIS reports related to admissions, revenue, attendance, and placements.
• Oversee procurement, infrastructure maintenance, and vendor coordination.

Placement & Industry Collaboration

• Develop partnerships with engineering companies for internships and placements.
• Coordinate campus recruitment drives and industry interaction sessions.
• Maintain relationships with HR teams and hiring managers across engineering organizations.
• Support students in resume preparation, interview readiness, and career planning.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in branch management, education, training, or business operations.
• Prior experience in managing a technical training institute, CAE/CAD training center, or skill development organization is preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering education, CAE training programs, and career-oriented learning solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving admissions, sales, and revenue targets.
• Experience in student counseling, admissions management, and customer relationship management.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing faculty, counselors, and administrative teams.
