Branch Manager (Nilai)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Branch Head to lead the overall operations and business performance of our branch. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team while ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong operational, customer service, and people management skills who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy continuous improvement efforts to drive productivity, reduce operating costs, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively with others to provide seamless quality customer service to achieve strategic business initiatives
• Manage full employee and contract driver life cycle from recruitment to resignation, including adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and applicable laws
• Identify and secure new customers to support rapid business expansion
• Oversee resource allocation including personnel, equipment and facilities to ensure optimal utilization
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, delivery accuracy, customer satisfaction, and operational costs, and take corrective actions to address any performance issues
• Ensure branch and staff safety, manage security tools, and maintain cleanliness and appurtenance
• Collaborate with other departments, submit timely reports, and manage staff supplies
• Oversee and manage the activities of the hired agent and the services of GDEX point-of-presence (POP) within the designated branch
• Perform any other sales activities or project as assigned by the superior

Requirements/Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the courier, logistics, transportation, or related industry
• Experience in leading or supervising a team is an added advantage
• Familiar with branch operations, service quality, and operational KPI management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced working environment
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
