We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Mortgage Loan Officer who is ready for more than a traditional desk role and compensation structure. This distinctive partnership opportunity is designed for an MLO who wants to achieve exceptional production, grow and lead a dynamic branch, and serve as the trusted lending resource for a premier real estate sales team with consistent buyer and seller activity.

The ideal candidate understands that the future of mortgage lending is relationship-driven, seamlessly integrated with real estate, and built on referrals—not limited to one-time transactions.

You will work closely with an established PLACE-powered real estate team that regularly generates inbound buyer and seller leads, emphasizes responsiveness, transparency, and an outstanding client experience, and seeks a long-term mortgage partner rather than a rotating list of lenders.

You won’t be just another lender here—you’ll be the lender.

Responsibilities

Originate and close residential mortgage loans with excellence and speed

Serve as the primary mortgage partner for our real estate sales team's leads

Collaborate closely with agents to convert, pre-approve, and close buyers

Build, grow, and eventually lead a branch or production pod

Maintain strong referral relationships with agents, builders, and partners

Deliver a best-in-class borrower experience from pre-approval to closing

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer (required)

Verifiable closed loan volume (recent production history required)

Active or eligible NMLS license

Strong understanding of purchase transactions (not just refi)

Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build something meaningful

High integrity, strong communication skills, and team-first mentality
