What they need

Enjoy a hands-on role where you can put your practical skills and organisational ability to good use.

Join our Mount Maunganui showroom and help keep the branch running smoothly.

This is a varied role with a focus on stock control, furniture assembly and day-to-day operational support. You’ll also assist customers and support the sales team when required, so being comfortable working with people is just as important as being organised behind the scenes.

This is a full-time position, working five days per week, including weekends as part of the roster.

What you’ll do

  • Receive, process and transfer stock, keeping records accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with stock ordering, stock control and regular stocktakes.
  • Assemble furniture in the showroom and occasionally in customers’ homes.
  • Prepare customer orders for collection and delivery.
  • Help keep the showroom organised and well presented.
  • Assist customers in-store and support sales activities when needed.
  • Work alongside the wider team to keep the branch operating efficiently.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be practical, reliable and happy to get involved wherever you’re needed. You’ll take pride in getting the details right, keeping things organised and providing great service.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The physical capability to lift, move and assemble furniture.
  • Confidence using computer systems and following processes.
  • Clear communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
  • Initiative and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.

Previous retail or customer service experience would be an advantage.
