As a family-run business we have a strong focus on work-life balance and ensuring contributions are recognised and valued.

MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE JOB

This is an exciting role in our growing marketing team, providing hands-on brand and marketing support across both our UK & Ireland and international businesses. The role reports directly to the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager UK & Ireland and provides agreed dotted-line support to the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager International, helping both areas translate strategy into high-quality, well-coordinated execution.

We’re an ambitious team who believe we can make a real difference to people’s lives and we’re looking for a passionate, hands-on marketeer to help bring probiotics to the mainstream. You’ll need solid experience across the full marketing mix, strong project-management skills and the drive to make things happen across multiple teams, channels and markets.

You’ll work closely with both Senior Brand & Marketing Managers, supporting teams across Sales, Digital, International, HCP, Science, Design and Creative. You’ll coordinate activity across brand campaigns, product launches, customer plans and international workstreams, bringing people together and keeping projects moving with clarity and energy. Priorities for shared support will be agreed between the two senior managers to ensure the role is focused where it can add most value and avoids duplicated work.

Things move fast at Optibac, so no two days are the same. You’ll need to be confident planning and delivering fully integrated 360° activity, grounded in consumer insight and best practice, while adapting your approach to different commercial and market needs. Digital know-how is essential too, as you’ll work closely with our Digital Team across website, Amazon, marketplaces and social activity where required.

You’ll play a central delivery role in consumer insight and market research. Working with the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager UK & Ireland, who leads global brand tracking, brand health and Trusted & Recommended studies, you’ll help manage research agencies, fieldwork, analysis and reporting, while also supporting the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager International with relevant international market insight and application of findings.

In the UK & Ireland, you’ll provide strong day-to-day support to our Sales teams across national accounts, pharmacies, health food stores and supermarkets, including range reviews, category management, customer marketing plans and sales-driving initiatives. Internationally, you’ll provide agreed support to priority markets, distributors and new-business opportunities, helping adapt and deliver effective marketing activity using our global brand assets and guidelines.

In summary, we’re looking for someone with a broad depth of experience, great instincts, a creative mind, strong attention to detail and, most importantly, someone who’s comfortable rolling up their sleeves to support on any task to get the job done within our close-knit team. If that sounds like you and you’re also a lovely human, we’d love to work with you.

Flexibility is essential at Wren Laboratories, with all teams working closely together to support and develop the ‘Optibac’ brand, so occasional additional support duties may be required in other areas of the business.
