Brass Instrument Repair Technician (Full-Time, Paid Training)
Amro Music – Memphis, TN
If you take pride in doing things exceptionally well — not just getting them done — you’ll feel right at home at Amro Music. We’re looking for driven, detail-oriented problem solvers who take ownership of their work, thrive in team environments, and want to be recognized for excellence.
Whether you’re a seasoned craftsman, a mechanic, or simply someone who loves fixing and improving things, this is your opportunity to master a unique, rewarding trade.
About the Role
As a Brass Instrument Repair Technician, you’ll join one of the nation’s top school music service teams — trusted by thousands of educators and musicians across the Mid-South. You’ll work hands-on to repair brass instruments using in school programs across the area, ensuring every student plays with confidence and pride.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and play-test brass instruments used in school music programs
- Perform precision work with craftsmanship, speed, and attention to detail
- Collaborate with a high-performing team that values accountability and excellence
- Contribute to process improvements and share best practices with your peers
Who You Are
- A high achiever — You’re known for your work ethic and take pride in doing things the right way.
- Mechanically skilled — You enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, and fixing what others can’t.
- Detail-driven — You notice the little things that separate “good enough” from “great.”
- Team-oriented — You want to be part of a group that challenges and supports one another.
- Growth-minded — You’re eager to learn, improve, and build a lasting career in a skilled trade.
Experience playing a brass instrument helps, but it’s not required — we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Training, Pay & Growth
- Paid on-the-job training with our expert technicians — no prior repair experience required
- $16/hour starting pay during training
- Performance-based pay increases and commissions after certification
- Pay rewards both quality and efficiency
- Full-time benefits: health insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and more
