Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of cinnamon rolls bread, glazings, toppings and more.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with food safety regulations
• Package baked items for retail display or catering orders with precision and care
• Decorate cakes and pastries using various cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
• Assist with food preparation tasks including dough kneading, pastry assembly, and food handling
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth production flow
• Adhere strictly to food safety management practices and recipe adherence to ensure quality control
• Support high-volume production needs by working quickly while maintaining consistency and quality
• Provide excellent customer service by offering knowledgeable product information when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
• Strong knife skills and expertise in dough preparation are essential for efficiency and precision
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and packaging machines confidently
• Experience with cake decorating and pastry techniques is highly desirable
• High-volume baking experience preferred for managing large-scale production demands
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing recipes effectively
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure consistency in baked goods’ appearance and taste
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean workspace and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate product details clearly when engaging with clients or team members
