About Mighty Bread Company
Mighty Bread Company is a James Beard–nominated wholesale and retail bakery in East Passyunk. We create naturally leavened breads for our retail customers and some of Philadelphia’s top restaurants. We are looking to expand our growing bread team.

What you'll do:

• Divide dough and shape loaves with care and precision
• Execute our morning bake — experience with a steam-injected deck oven is a plus
• Scale ingredients and prep for the day’s bake
• Handle other bakery production tasks: prepping bakery items, cleaning, general kitchen upkeep
• Occasionally help with packing, bagging, and prepping bread for delivery
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs

Must-haves:

• Previous experience in commercial bakery or restaurant baking
• Organized, reliable, and able to move quickly when needed — oven-room heat and fermenting dough wait for no one
• Physical stamina and comfort lifting 50 lbs
• Flexibility: shifts generally begin between 3:00 AM–7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday availability required
• Willingness to handle whatever needs doing — from baking to cleanup to prep — with a team-focused mindset
