Position Overview

Levain Bakery is seeking a skilled and dependable Bread Baker to support daily bakery production. The ideal candidate will prepare and bake high-quality breads and baked goods while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dough, batters, and baking ingredients according to recipes
• Mix, shape, proof, and bake bread and other bakery products
• Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product quality
• Maintain consistent texture, appearance, and freshness
• Measure ingredients accurately and follow production procedures
• Maintain clean and organized baking stations
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
• Monitor ingredient supplies and report inventory needs
• Work efficiently with the bakery production team

Qualifications

• Previous bakery or bread-baking experience preferred
• Knowledge of dough preparation, proofing, and baking techniques
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift baking supplies
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
• Culinary or baking training is a plus
