Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bread Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong bread-making skills, with experience in pastry production highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts
• Prepare dough, shape, proof, and bake bread to a consistently high standard
• Prepare and bake pastries, including croissants, Danish pastries, and other laminated products
• Decorate cakes and pastries to a high standard
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency in quality and presentation
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Manage stock and assist with ordering ingredients
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
• Assist with production for markets and daily sales
• Work efficiently to meet daily production requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bread Baker, Baker
• Proven experience in commercial bread production
• Pastry-making experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and food safety standards
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays when required
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
