Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and handling, with a particular focus on baking bread. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that meet our customers' expectations while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Ensure all baked products are of the highest quality by adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following food safety regulations.
• Package baked goods for sale or catering orders, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely production of orders.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a retail establishment, restaurant or catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in bread production.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Flexibility to work early mornings or weekends as needed.
• A passion for baking and creating delicious products that delight customers.
