Bread Production Helper

What you’ll do

• Divide and cut dough into portions
• Weigh and scale dough accurately to our specs
• Pre-shape and shape loaves, baguettes, rolls, and buns
• Load proofing racks and help get bread into the oven
• Help with mixing, ingredient prep, and scaling recipes
• Pack and label bread for wholesale orders
• Keep the bench and production area clean and organized

What we’re looking for

• Bakery or kitchen experience is an asset, but we’ll train the right person
• Good with your hands and willing to learn shaping technique
• Accurate and detail-oriented, since every piece is weighed
• Able to work at a steady pace during production
• Reliable and punctual. Our bread starts early, so this matters
• Comfortable with early morning shifts. Weekend availability is an asset
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• FOODSAFE Level 1 is an asset (we can help you get it)

Location: 4430 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver (West Point Grey). Easy to reach by bus.

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
