Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Breadmaker to join our bakery team! In this role, you will be at the heart of our bakery operations, crafting high-quality, artisan breads that delight our customers. Your expertise in dough preparation, baking, and food handling will ensure every loaf and treat meets our standards of excellence. Duties

• Prepare and knead dough for various breads and pizza dough, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes
• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and slicing machines safely and efficiently
• Bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked items to meet production schedule
• Prepare made to order foods such as sandwiches and pizza
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Package or display baked goods attractively for retail display or customer orders
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Proven experience in food production or bakery operations, preferably with high-volume baking experience
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dough preparation
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and refrigeration units
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and maintaining a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes
• Customer service experience is a plus
