Breakfast and afterschool assistant

Brightstars is an out of school provision based out of a local school, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, to work between 7:30-8:50 and 3:00-5:50, 16 hours a week qualifications are not essential but must have a natural affinity with children.

Job duties will include:

• To ensure highest levels of care are provided for every child and that supervision and appropriate interaction is given during play at all times.
• Take part in the day-to-day administration and record keeping, (e.g. school correspondence book, messages to and from parents, new enquiries, register, accident forms etc.)
• ensure that all correspondence applicable to your manager is reported especially any new enquiries/starters
• Plan and provide relative activities to suit all the children and their stages of development.
• Preparation of food and drink
• Administer first aid as appropriate
• Carry out all responsibilities and activities within the equal opportunities framework
• Ensure that the room is checked thoroughly before leaving

the job role will be term time only and will include both breakfast and afterschool session holiday club work is available should you require more hours

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
