Position: Breakfast Assistant

Department: Hospitality & Catering Department

Report to: Skyline Restaurant Manager

Salary: Competitive salary plus attractive employee benefits.

Hours: Part-time, 27 hours per week, normally worked on a Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shifts usually start at 6am or 7am.

Location: Tynecastle Park Hotel, Edinburgh, EH11 2NL

Located within Tynecastle Park Stadium, Tynecastle Park Hotel is the first hotel in the UK to be fully owned and operated by a football club. We’re looking for a Breakfast Assistant to work within our award-winning Skyline Restaurant. If you have hospitality experience, are passionate about delivering excellent guest experience and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you.

Breakfast Assistant Responsibilities:

• Prepare the Skyline Restaurant for breakfast service each morning, including setting tables, chairs and cutlery.
• Effectively manage cash and card transactions.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and front of house team to deliver a smooth breakfast experience for all guests.
• Ensure every guest dining in the Skyline Restaurant is welcomed with open arms, receiving service which exceeds expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships throughout the Hospitality team, and departments across the Club.

Essential Experience, Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry.
• Passionate about delivering above and beyond customer service.
• Flexibility with weekly working patterns.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Conscientious and committed to attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to provide evidence of Legal Right to Work in the UK.
