Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and ready for service
• Serve breakfast items with friendly, attentive in-person customer service, creating a positive guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, buffet stations, kitchen equipment, and food prep zones according to food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks, including slicing, plating, and portioning food items
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to manual handling guidelines and weight handling protocols
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable
• Follow all food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations and dietary requirements

Skills

• Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures
• Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace with care and precision
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment including warming trays, coffee machines, toasters, etc.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing portion sizes
• Knowledge of wine or beverage service is a plus for enhancing guest experience
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to in-person interactions
• Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous for supporting large groups or special events
• Understanding of dietary restrictions and food handling best practices within the food industry
