Duties

• Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Set up buffet stations, replenish food supplies, and maintain attractive displays throughout service hours
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly to maintain a spotless environment
• Assist with food handling and portioning, adhering to dietary guidelines and safety protocols
• Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays efficiently and safely
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service

Skills

• Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant environments, with a strong focus on food presentation and quality
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety management, and sanitizing procedures
• Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and operating kitchen equipment safely
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory levels
• Familiarity with wine knowledge enhances guest experience during breakfast service
• Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on in-person interactions and hospitality excellence
• Previous banquet or food industry experience is advantageous for managing diverse service needs
