Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food service equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, and portioning ingredients
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations
• Greet guests warmly in person, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while handling weights and food portions responsibly
• Follow food safety management protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred; fine dining or catering experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety sanitizing procedures
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting weights associated with food prep and cleaning supplies
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory counts
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as coffee makers, toasters, and warming trays
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and positive approach to guest interactions
• Experience in wine knowledge or barista work is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous banquet or catering experience is beneficial; dietary aide experience is also valued
• A passion for the food industry with a focus on hospitality excellence
