Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling protocols and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items as needed
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
• Restock supplies regularly and ensure all food items are stored correctly with proper weight handling in the workplace
• Support catering or banquet setups when required, contributing to seamless event execution
• Follow manual handling procedures during food prep and cleaning activities to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues
• Engage with guests professionally, offering assistance or answering questions about menu options or services

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; culinary experience is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor in in-person interactions
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
• Experience with POS systems for cash handling and order processing
• Familiarity with wine knowledge or beverage service is a bonus but not required
• Ability to handle weight in the workplace comfortably during food prep or cleaning tasks
• Previous catering or banquet experience is desirable; familiarity with the food industry enhances your fit for this role

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
