Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision and care, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
• Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment according to food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, blenders, and other small appliances
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
• Follow food safety management protocols diligently to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
• Support catering or special event setups as needed, including serving guests and managing dietary accommodations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within a hospitality or restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling practices, and cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; manual handling skills are essential for lifting and moving supplies
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counting; familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of wine service, bartending, or barista experience adds value to the role
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; capable of engaging with guests professionally in person
• Experience in catering or dietary aide roles demonstrates versatility in food industry environments
