Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu options, and provide attentive in-person service
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, food stations, and kitchen equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Follow food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
• Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, toasters, and warming trays safely and efficiently
• Handle manual tasks including weight handling of food supplies and processing cash transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system
• Restock food items as needed during service hours while managing proper food handling practices

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Experience with POS systems is advantageous
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual handling tasks safely
• Familiarity with catering or restaurant environments is beneficial; culinary experience or food industry background is a plus
