Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision and care, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations, following strict food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing, plating, and portioning ingredients while adhering to food handling safety guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, blenders, and warming stations
• Manage manual handling tasks such as lifting supplies and weight handling in the workplace while following proper ergonomic practices
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle customer payments with professionalism
• Engage in in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests or dietary needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic environment
• Experience with food preparation techniques and operating kitchen equipment effectively
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Familiarity with wine knowledge or beverage service is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
• A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in the food industry

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
