Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision and care, maintaining food presentation and quality standards.
• Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, utensils, and kitchen equipment, through regular cleaning routines.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations safely and efficiently.
• Assist with food portioning, weighing ingredients accurately using basic math skills to ensure consistency.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service.
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure the breakfast station is fully equipped at all times.
• Follow manual handling procedures when lifting or moving food trays, supplies, or equipment to prevent injury.
• Support catering or banquet setups when needed, contributing to special events with professionalism and efficiency.
• Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to all dietary guidelines and sanitation standards.

Experience

Candidates should bring a background in food service or hospitality environments, ideally with experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet settings. Prior roles involving food preparation, serving, or bartending are highly valued. Familiarity with operating POS systems and processing cash transactions is preferred. A strong understanding of food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures and manual handling techniques, is essential. Experience in wine knowledge or barista work adds an extra layer of expertise beneficial for this role. Previous hospitality experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills—whether in-person or over the phone—will help you succeed in creating memorable guest experiences.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
