Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations, following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks, including slicing, plating, and portioning ingredients as needed
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
• Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to hygiene standards and proper food handling protocols
• Restock supplies regularly to ensure all breakfast items are available for guests and maintain a tidy work environment

Skills

• Proven experience in fine dining or food service environments with strong culinary knowledge
• Skilled in food preparation, handling, and cleaning procedures aligned with food safety standards
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while managing manual handling tasks
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels
• Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus but not required
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor in face-to-face interactions
• Experience with POS systems for processing payments accurately
• Familiarity with catering or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitizing procedures in the workplace
• Ability to handle weighty items safely during food handling and restocking activities
