Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and ready for service
• Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and portioning according to safety standards and presentation guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area by cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and utensils regularly
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
• Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, toasters, warmers, and other small appliances safely and efficiently
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when handling guest orders or purchases
• Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs or special requests

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in fine dining or catering is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitizing procedures
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting trays or boxes of supplies safely
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and POS systems
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counting
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant or banquet setting is desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
