Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
• Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and garnishing dishes according to safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, ovens, and food warmers safely and efficiently
• Handle manual tasks including weight handling of food supplies and restocking items as needed
• Serve breakfast items to guests in person with friendly and attentive customer service
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining integrity in financial handling
• Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitizing procedures
• Support catering services or special events when required, assisting with setup and breakdown

Experience

• Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, food handling, and basic culinary techniques
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food industry standards is essential
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as coffee makers, ovens, or warming stations preferred
• Customer service experience in hospitality or food service environments is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
• Prior catering or dietary aide experience can be advantageous for this role
• Ability to handle manual weight tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
