Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
• Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and portioning ingredients according to safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food stations by following sanitizing procedures and cleaning schedules
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling practices and sanitizing protocols to prevent contamination
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and manage weight handling in the workplace
• Serve guests in person with friendly customer service, addressing dietary needs or special requests promptly and professionally

Skills

• Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures within the food industry
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing weight in the workplace
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
• Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus but not required
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor for in-person interactions
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, toasters, coffee makers, and warming trays
• Catering or dietary aide experience is beneficial for understanding diverse guest needs
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing payments efficiently
