Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality, food service, and creating a positive guest experience. Prior experience in restaurant, catering, or hospitality settings is preferred but not required. The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in setting the tone for our guests' day and supporting the overall operations of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
• Set up breakfast buffet or service stations, including replenishing supplies as needed
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
• Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in dining areas
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours
• Follow all health department regulations and safety procedures to ensure guest safety

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic cleaning and bussing skills to uphold cleanliness standards
• Familiarity with meal preparation, coffee service, or barista experience is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and guest relations abilities
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately if required
• Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; previous hotel or restaurant experience is beneficial
