Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
• Maintain cleanliness of all guest areas, including dining spaces, kitchens, and public restrooms, following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food handling guidelines
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and plating dishes in accordance with health regulations
• Support in processing cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems during breakfast service
• Ensure proper manual handling of supplies and weight of items to prevent injury and maintain workplace safety
• Uphold food safety management practices by monitoring temperatures, sanitation levels, and storage procedures
• Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing needs promptly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special catering events if applicable
• Perform routine cleaning duties using appropriate tools and techniques to maintain a hygienic environment at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in fine dining or catering is a plus
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform manual handling tasks effectively
• Basic understanding of wine knowledge or culinary experience is advantageous but not required
• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating excellent in-person customer service skills

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 30.0 per week
