Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, guest rooms, and public spaces through thorough cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Follow food safety management protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and other appliances
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and plating to support culinary operations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
• Handle weight-based tasks such as portioning ingredients or managing supplies in accordance with safety guidelines
• Support general housekeeping duties by changing linens, restocking supplies, and ensuring guest areas are tidy and inviting
• Adhere to manual handling safety practices when lifting or moving heavy items or supplies
• Contribute to a positive guest experience through attentive service and prompt response to requests

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
• Experience with food preparation techniques common in fine dining or culinary settings
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on in-person interactions
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
• Basic math skills for managing cash transactions and portioning ingredients
• Knowledge of wine or beverage service is a plus but not required
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing weight in the workplace
• Experience working in restaurant or hotel environments with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning routines and food presentation
• A positive attitude combined with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
