BREAKFAST BAR / CAFE OPERATOR WANTED

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Breakfast Bar / Café Operator to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the heart of our morning operations, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while preparing and serving a variety of breakfast items and beverages. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of breakfast foods, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash and card payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, counters, and seating areas
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Restock supplies as needed to keep the café fully operational throughout each shift

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café operations is highly preferred; barista experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Experience in beverage preparation, including coffee making and drink service
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and food prep

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
