Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items with precision, creativity, and consistency.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to safety standards and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in menu planning and suggest new breakfast dishes to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of breakfast orders.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients, notify management of shortages, and assist with inventory control.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques specific to breakfast dishes such as eggs, pancakes, pastries, and more.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests.
• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed during shifts.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
