Bad Ass Morning Bar is looking for a Breakfast Chef / BAMwich Artist to take the lead on our curated breakfast sandwich bar.

We aren’t looking for someone to simply assemble sandwiches.

We’re looking for someone who loves food! Someone who thinks about flavor combinations, textures, sauces, seasonal ingredients and how something as simple as a fresh bagel, egg and thoughtfully chosen ingredients can become a really great breakfast.

Our BAMwiches are made fresh and made to order using fresh bagels, eggs and hand-selected quality ingredients. Our menu is creative, approachable and a little unconventional.

If you love exploring food and creating things people actually get excited to come back for, you may fit right in.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll take ownership of the food side of BAM BAR, including:

• Prepare fresh, made-to-order breakfast sandwiches and menu items Cook eggs and proteins consistently and efficiently Prep fresh ingredients, sauces and toppings Maintain quality and presentation even during a rush Keep your station organized, stocked and exceptionally clean Help monitor prep levels, inventory and food waste Learn our existing BAMwich menu and execute it consistently Collaborate on seasonal sandwiches, specials and new flavor combinations Help train future kitchen/support team members as the food program grows Interact with customers and create genuine relationships with our regulars

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t necessarily need a traditional chef résumé.

You do need to care about food.

We’d love someone who:

• Gets genuinely excited about flavor combinations and food exploration Can handle a rush without becoming overwhelmed or sacrificing quality Moves quickly and naturally in a kitchen Has strong food-safety and cleanliness habits Takes pride in presentation Is dependable and comfortable taking ownership of their area Is friendly, approachable and enjoys getting to know customers Has a great attitude and a welcoming smile Can work independently without needing constant direction Likes contributing ideas instead of simply being handed a checklist Doesn’t need a corporate environment to thrive

THIS ROLE CAN GROW

We’re building a stronger team around BAM BAR, and we’re looking for someone who can eventually own the food side of the business.

For the right person, this can grow beyond making sandwiches into a Kitchen Lead position with responsibility for prep systems, consistency, inventory, training and helping develop future BAMwiches and seasonal specials.

We’re looking for someone who wants to put a little bit of themselves into what we’re building.
