Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our small team in our hotel lodge. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving continental breakfast, as well as cooked breakfast, such as Full English that set the tone for our guests’ day. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, culinary excellence, and attention to food safety will ensure an exceptional dining experience every morning. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items with precision, creativity, and consistency.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in meal planning and ingredient sourcing to support menu development.
• Serve breakfast dishes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to guests or dining areas.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of quality, speed, and customer satisfaction during busy service periods.

Experience

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
• Previous experience working as a breakfast chef or in a similar culinary role is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to breakfast cuisine such as eggs, pancakes, pastries, and other morning favorites.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and serving guests.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
