Breakfast Chef

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. In this role, working 5 days from 7 you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality plated breakfast dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, culinary excellence, and exceptional service will help create memorable dining experiences.

Duties

• Prepare a variety of breakfast items with precision, consistency, and flair, ensuring each dish meets quality standards.
• Manage food preparation stations efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in line with food safety regulations.
• Cook and assemble menu items swiftly to accommodate busy service periods while maintaining high standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing.
• Follow all food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Serve breakfast dishes to guests with professionalism and a friendly attitude, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including meal preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while maintaining the quality and presentation of all dishes
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
• Familiarity with serving procedures and guest interaction to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Enthusiasm for learning new recipes and culinary trends to keep menus fresh and exciting.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
