Breakfast Club Assistant

Duties

• Supervise children during breakfast time, ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all attendees
• Assist with setting up and cleaning breakfast areas to maintain hygiene standards
• Lead engaging activities that promote social interaction, learning, and fun, including arts, games, and light educational exercises
• Support children with their dietary needs and encourage healthy eating habits
• Foster positive behavior by implementing gentle discipline strategies and promoting respectful interactions
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support transportation duties if required, including safe drop-off or pick-up of children with appropriate driving skills

Experience

• Previous experience working with children age 4- 11 years
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude toward child engagement and supervision
• Knowledge of child development principles and basic first aid training is advantageous but not mandatory as training can be given.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
