Breakfast Cook

Lulo Café is looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Breakfast Cook to join our team in Miami.

You will be responsible for preparing our breakfast and brunch dishes with consistency, quality, and care. We are a small, fast-paced café, so we are looking for someone who works efficiently, stays organized during busy hours, and takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean and well maintained.

Cleaning, hygiene, and maintaining an organized kitchen are an essential part of this position and part of the daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch dishes according to our recipes and quality standards
• Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion sizes
• Work efficiently during busy breakfast and brunch service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen throughout the entire shift
• Regularly clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, surfaces, and kitchen tools
• Wash and properly store kitchen equipment and utensils as needed
• Complete daily kitchen cleaning and closing duties, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and food preparation areas
• Keep refrigerators, storage areas, and food preparation stations clean and organized
• Monitor inventory and communicate when ingredients or supplies are running low
• Work closely with the rest of the Lulo Café team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook, breakfast cook, or in a restaurant/café kitchen preferred
• Experience preparing breakfast and brunch dishes
• Good knife and food preparation skills
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Organized, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Weekend availability preferred
